The unit’s rust-proof plastic drain pans, constructed from fiberglass-reinforced thermoset polymer, are designed to maintain structural integrity under high temperatures and eliminate the risk of corrosion in both vertical and horizontal applications. A ¾-inch foil-faced insulation lining throughout the cabinet enhances thermal efficiency and prevents condensation, while factory sealing ensures 2% or less total airflow leakage, meeting rigorous duct leakage test standards. Built with a durable pre-painted galvanized steel cabinet, the air handler resists corrosion and rust creep, while internal components are made from G60 galvanized or pre-painted G30 galvanized steel for added resilience. Each model includes internal filter racks compatible with standard 1-inch filters for better air quality and convenient maintenance. The unit also supports 6HK field-installed electric heat kits, ranging from 2 kW to 25 kW, to meet a wide range of supplemental heating requirements with installation-friendly design. A high-efficiency ECM variable speed motor ensures ultra-quiet operation and superior indoor comfort by maintaining consistent airflow and enabling humidity control year-round when used with a humidistat. This motor consumes up to 76% less energy than standard blower motors, significantly lowering heating and cooling costs. Additionally, the system is communications-ready, allowing integration into a 4-wire bus communication network for seamless connectivity and enhanced control.
