York Warranty Documents

  • Registration can be completed online at https://www.registermyunit.com/en-US/Warranty or by logging in to your Solution Navigator account. You will need the model number, serial number, installation date, and homeowner information. All equipment must be registered within 90 days of install to achieve 10 year parts coverage.

  • If equipment is not registered within the required timeframe (90 days from install) the warranty terms default to the base limited parts coverage of 5 years.

  • Yes, new homeowners have 90 days from the date of closing on their new home to transfer warranty on their equipment using the link below. It is free to transfer standard warranty and there is a $99 fee to transfer extended labor warranties. Please note: If a transfer is not completed within 90 days of closing on the home, the warranty will revert back to the manufacturers standard warranty of 5 years parts and any extended warranty plans will be voided. Additionally, the ability to transfer standard warranty only applies to equipment installed on or after January 1, 2021

  • You have 90 days from the date of failure to file a claim without accruing late filing fees from the factory. Any claims filed 91 days to 1 year from date of failure will have fees deducted directly from their claim payout. Any claims submitted more than 1 year from date of failure will be automatically denied. Please refer to the fee table below.

  • Warranty parts should not be disposed of until credit has been issued to your account by VAD. The factory and VAD reserve the right to request parts back for testing and in the event that the part cannot be provided your claim will be denied.

  • Labor payout for York equipment is determined by the factory and may vary by dealer. For your specific hourly rate, please contact your local branch, they can look this up in Solution Navigator. To see how many labor hours are allotted for specific parts, please refer to VAD's warranty claim form, where the residential labor table is printed on the back.
